Visual Flight Terrain Mesh uses advanced data processing techniques derived from the designer's background in geophysical surveying to produce the most accurate and visually impressive terrain yet available for the British Isles. The scenery is unsurpassed in its rendition of the UK and Ireland, bringing to life the hills and mountains of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

Flight simulator pilots will appreciate the importance of having accurate terrain clearance elevations. Because this accuracy derives from the data processing techniques rather than manual intervention, this accuracy is consistent through the scenery, not just for selected peaks.

Because of the improved terrain, the FS2002 scenery engine is able to choose more appropriate and varied textures for the landscape. This makes for dramatic visual improvements particularly in hilly and mountainous areas, but also in relatively low-lying terrain where it can help eliminate some of the blandness of the default scenery.

In Visual Flight terrain mesh scenery, all airports blend perfectly into the landscape. Other mesh sceneries display airports surrounded by cliffs or raised on platforms where there is a discrepancy between the airport and its surrounding terrain. 

The scenery is designed and optimised for FS2002, delivering high frame rates with minimal download sizes.
