Please note:

There is an outstanding issue affecting some users with FS2004. We are working to resolve this problem which only occurs when switching from one FS2004 window to another, and only when using FS2004 in full screen mode. As a workaround, Scotflight Scenery 2 users are recommended to use FS2004 in windowed mode only until the problem is resolved.

Version 1.x users

Existing users of Scotflight Scenery 1.x can order an upgrade to Version 2.0:

Note for PayPal users:

If you are paying via PayPal, please use the PayPal BUY NOW buttons above rather than the PayPal option provided by SWREG.

Ordering FAQ

How are orders processed?

Orders are processed by PayPal, a global leader in online payment solutions or via SWREG, the oldest-established secure payment system on the internet.

  • PayPal is one of the best known online payment systems in the world, and people who already have an account with them will find it quicker and easier to order via this route. However, even people who do not already have a PayPal account can order via PayPal, and in fact this is our recommended option for most people.
  • SWREG is one of the oldest established online ordering systems and offers a variety of payment options and currencies in addition to those provided by PayPal which is why we offer it as an alternative.

Note: Clicking on the BUY NOW buttons does not commit you to purchasing, so you can explore the options provided by each system before making a decision.

What if my currency isn't shown in the price list?

This should not be a problem. Both SWREG and PayPal allow you to purchase using a variety of currencies:

  • PayPal lets you pay in any of the currencies they offer (currently U.S. Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, and Yen). On the Payment Details page, they show you the current exchange rate and the equivalent amount in your primary currency. When you pay, the conversion is handled automatically.
  • SWREG lets you choose to display prices in your preferred currency (from a wide range of options). When you pay, the conversion is handled automatically.
When can I expect my CD order to be delivered?

CD orders are normally dispatched within 1-2 days. UK First class post normally takes 1-2 days, Air Mail 3-4 days.  Please allow longer during busy times or holiday periods.

How and when do I receive my download instructions?

Download  instructions are included in the order confirmation email which is sent on completion of your order. Please ensure that you give a working email address. If you do not receive the order confirmation email within 1-2 hours of placing your order, please contact orders@visualflight.co.uk

After downloading, do I need an internet connection to install the scenery?

Absolutely not. Unlike some other add-on scenery products, Visual Flight setup programs do not need you to be online to install the scenery. This means you can download the scenery on a computer with an internet connection (at work for example, but please ask permission from your employer) then install it on a computer with no internet connection, e.g. a dedicated flight sim computer.

Can I use a download accelerator to download the scenery?

You can, but it is recommended that you don't. The download servers are very efficient and will normally deliver your download at the maximum bandwidth on a single connection without needing to use a download accelerator. Using a download accelerator will add unnecessary overhead and complication to the procedure with no appreciable benefit.

Do I need a download accelerator to resume the download if my internet connection is broken?

Not necessarily. Browsers such as Internet Explorer will attempt to resume a  download in the event that the  internet connection is unexpectedly terminated. If this happens during your download, it is recommended that you repeat the download instructions as soon as practically possible after restoring your connection so that the partially downloaded file is still available in your browser cache to allow the download to resume from the point the connection was broken.

What happens if I can't download for any reason?

Please contact us using the details on the download page.  We've not had a single customer yet who has not been able to complete their download and we intend to ensure it stays that way.
