This week the flight will be in Denmark, so advance warning that the following files may be worthwhile downloading from AVSIM:
denmark_scenery_fsx_V1_3_partone.zip denmark_scenery_fsx_V1_3_parttwo.zip
Further details of the flight plan to follow.

Assemble at Gronholt (EKGH) at the usual time on Skype.
Slowish aircraft or helicopter of your choice - there are a number of Visual Reference Points en-route including a couple of heliports, so if you choose the latter you can land at these if you wish. I will be in a Chipmunk of the Danish Air Force.
We will overfly Gronholt Kirke, Fredensborg Castle, Frederiksborg Castle and Alleroed Vandtarn before making our first T&G on runway 16 at Alleroed Flyveplads (EKAL).
Next is another T&G on runway 08 at Marbaek (EKMA), then overfly Jaegerspris Mill and Kyndbyvaerket Power Plant before another T&G on runway 18 at Oroe Airstrip (EKOR).
Overfly Kisserup Mill on the way to another T&G on runway 10 at Ny Hagested (EKHK), followed by another on runway 09 at Kalundborg (EKKL).
Overfly the estate of Lerchenborg and cross the water to Viby Mill, then on to Odense for a full stop on runway 06 where we can partake of some lovely Danish Bacon sarnies.
On resuming, overfly Maderup Mill then make your way to the Great Belt Bridge - aircraft can do as they wish here (over, under, along, whatever) while helis can T&G at the Sprogoe Heliport (EKGB).
Next T&G on runway 05 at Ringsted (EKRS) then overfly the Sankt Bendt Kirke and the Roskilde Domkirke before another T&G on runway 11 at Roskilde (EKRK).
if you are feeling adventurous T&G on runway 09 at the Albatros Ultralight Flying Club (EKML), otherwise proceed to T&G on runway 10 at Vaerlose AB (EKVL).
We now find ourselves overflying Herlev Hospital as we head towards Copenhagen. From here it is really a sightseeing tour of your choice, but I have included the RH Heliport (EKRH) and Rosenborg Castle. If there is time you may wish to T&G on the curved runway 16 at Avedoere (EKAA) before heading for a full-stop on runway 12 at Kastrup (EKCH) after touring the city.
I make no apologies for any mispelling, and will make NO attempt at pronunciation on this trip.
Hope you can make it, the flight plan is in the mail.

Sounds like an opportunity to wheel the Foxbat out.

Nice one Dave, I enjoyed the flight. It was good to be up in the Chipmunk again. Great company as always. A few from my camera including a post flight trip to find the gate guardian and (yes I decided to find her after all) the mermaid.

My paltry selection.

Thanks to Image Shack for free hosting.
One way or another, it was an eventful flight. Enjoyable nonetheless.
I hope Ken and Frank's wives enjoyed their birthdays?

Nice shots, both of you. Here are mine, courtesy of Classic British Files:

An enjoyable trip, but not somewhere I would expect to go to very often. Thanks to the other Flyers for their company.

Great flight, Dave, a pity about the gremlins joining in.
Here is a shot of Odense airport (add-on)

And for those that missed her den lille halvfrue (the litttle mermaid).

I must say that she looks much better than that in real life.

| I think my shot of her is from a better angle Norman, I went all round the place to see which was best and at least it looks like a mermaid. |
