If you are working on autogen or scenery for an area, you can list it here to save others duplicating the effort and also post location for download when finished.

Please start a NEW topic if you wish to discuss matters regarding scenery help and design and anything not directly related to project work in progress and please...Screenshots to a minimum and of a sensible size....think of folk with smaller monitors.

Autogen tree scenery. Following the coast from where my Cornish autogen starts at Chivenor and carrying on to Bristol. It will be available from the link below when completed, hopefully within a couple of weeks.

It was Chris who 'kick-started' the thread again I made the mistake of using the 'edit' section to advise on part 1 completion and my 'edit's' don't show as new post.

Hi Shep,

I may have missed this somewhere but could you clarify if this is native FSX autogen or FS9.

Thanks, Rod.

FS9 Rod, although it works in FSX (pre SP2) I will probably concentrate on total FSX now but wanted to finish off my Cornish autogen for FS9 first. (Screenshot was FS9)

Fine Ray,
That was as I thought but just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Fenland_Part2 covering Boston, Spalding and Holbeach is now on the database. Trees accurately placed using high-res photos so may be suitable for FSX as well as FS9. (It certainly won't break as much as the "ACES" patches )

A modest attempt to help in the quest for 100% coverage. Now it is your turn if you haven't already done some tree-planting!

Thank you Colin

Almost 30% now done (on my system) ... we'll keep planting, but a few more spades would be appreciated

Chris Eve

The sixth and final part of my "Grass Strips" autogen is now on the database ... you never had so many trees for Christmas

Next, I'll be working through my "Miscellaneous Strips" to increase the autogen around those fields.

Chris Eve

Having recently visited South Lincolnshire I took the opportunity to check and measure every tree that I have planted in the area. I then did the necessary calculations to find the height they would have been when the aerial photographs were taken and they have now been resized. They now look better in both FS9 and FSX. I am currently enlarging the area covered and will hopefully release "Version 2" in the next week or so. It is currently 400 tiles, resized and new.
