Posting screenshots isn't all that easy or obvious, so here's some help on how to do it:
- Publish the screenshot somewhere on the internet, e.g. in the free webspace provided by your ISP. Check your ISP's help pages for details of how to do this.
- Make a note of the URL of the image. You can do this in Internet Explorer by right-clicking the published image, then selecting Properties from the pop-up mouse menu. It should look something like http://www.myisp.com/mypages/image1.jpg
- In the Screenshots forum, click New Topic.
- Add the following to your message: [imgx]http://www.myisp.com/mypages/image1.jpg[/imgx], but without the 'x's. I only used imgx to prevent the example being shown as an image. Also, you'll obviously need to use your own URL, not the one given in the example.
- Add your description before or after the screenshot code.
- Use Preview to check it's all OK, then Post New Topic.
If you need additional help, try looking through the FAQ in the forum help menu at the top of the page.

As an alternative to the above, you can simply put the URL of the screenshot into your message. When you post it, the forum software will automatically recognise it as a web address (particularly if you include the http:// at the start or if the address starts with www.
This isn't quite so visually immediate as the image doesn't display until you click on it, but it does have the advantage that the page will load quicker, particularly with large images or if the topic contains many images.
