My son has just been visiting, and whilst he was here we decided to do a tour of the Isle of Wight to give him a chance to try out his new digital camera.

Unfortunately it was a bit thermic and he suffered from motion sickness, so we cut the journey short after reaching the Needles. He did manage a few nice shots though, so thought I would share them with you (I took the first one).

I thought the results were quite good in the circumstances. My better half did offer to remove the reflections and so on, but I prefer them unedited.

Dave.

Lovely shots, made me envious, 24 years since I had my last flight in a light plane.
Looks as if the light house keeper was having a stroll.
regards

Dave,

If you could send me no. 4 - Yarmouth Harbour with the swing bridge open - and no. 7 - Looking along Tennyson's Down towards Freshwater Bay - I'll send them to my sister, currently resident in Totland Bay.

Thanks

Frank.

Alum Bay looking as colourful as ever.

The cheeky beggars charge you to go in there now. Also very commercialised, I see a roundabout there!!!

Thanks Colin,

He's not only better looking than me, but he's taller than me now as well.

I'm proud of him - he has just got his 'A' Level results .... 4 A's and a B, and has been accepted by York University which was his first choice
